Vickie Castleberry was born January 20, 1960 to the late Robert Johnson and Shirley Castleberry in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She departed this life on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Her life was spent with her very special soul mate, James Thomas and his son Julius Thomas.
Vickie attended Moffett Public Schools and Roland High School. She was employed for over 25 years at Moffitt Public Schools until her health started to decline.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Moffett Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Harold Yates. She was involved in several school and church functions.
Vickie leaves to cherish her loving memory, soul mate, James Thomas and his son, Julius Thomas of Fort Smith, Arkansas; mother, Shirley Castleberry of Moffett, Oklahoma; two brothers, Dwayne Castleberry of Roland, Oklahoma, James Castleberry of Moffett, Oklahoma; three sisters, Donna Castleberry of Moffett, Oklahoma, Aurora Castleberry of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Connie Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6pm-7pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017, 11:00am at Moffett Elementary School Horton / Owens Complex, 701 Belt Street, Moffett, Oklahoma.
Interment will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery, Shady Grove, Oklahoma immediately following funeral service.
