Dwight's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Dwight Smith, Jr.

Dwight Smith, Jr., lovingly known as "DJ" by his family and friends was born May 4, 1992, in Conway, AR to Dwight Sr. and Mary Smith. He departed his life on Sunday May 28, 2017.

Dwight Jr. graduated from Morrilton High School in 2010 and went on to attend the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR. He was a hard worker, he worked at Petit Jean Packing House in Morrilton, AR.

Dwight Jr. gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mr. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Plummerville, AR under the leadership of Pastor David E. Cox.

Dwight Jr. had the biggest heart. He will always be remembered as a loving and caring son, father, brother, uncle and friend that touched many lives.

Dwight Jr. was preceded in death by his late grandfathers, L.W. Williams and Willie Smith. His memories will live on int he hears of his daughter, Khiley Smith of Morrilton, AR, parents Dwight Sr. and Mary Smith of Plummerville, AR grandmothers Helen Williams of Plummerville, AR and Ruby Smith of Union Chapel, AR (Alice Hoyle), four sisters Tiffany Trezvant (Mark) of Conway, AR, Katrina Williams (Demond) of Conway, AR, Gleneisha Henson of Morrilton, AR and Myesha Grayson of Detroit, MI, one brother Reginal Walls of Plummerville AR, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 from 1-6 PM at Veasley Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 3 PM at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Plummerville, AR.
