In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Wynn family. Michael's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Michael Wynne.

Minister Michael Levell Wynne was born September 13, 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Levell and Essie Myles-Wynne. He married his wife November 11, 1976. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

Michael loved people. He never met a stranger. He was a very forgiving, compassionate person no matter how wrong you did him. If you needed him, he was there. He was the “Dr. Phil” of this family. He had so much wisdom and knowledge on anything and everything.

He loved and praised God even on his bed of affliction. He was giving God all praise and glory. His theme was “I’m a praiser and I’m a worshipper and praise is what I do”. Michael worked for forty years with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and had over one hundred children in his home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Levell and Essie Wynne.

Michael leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Jolene Wynne of Van Buren, AR; five sons, Kennedy Wynne of Van Buren, AR, Stephen (Weezy) Wynne of Lawton, OK, Laron Branch of Lincoln, AR, Reynaldo Wynne of Omaha, NE, Arturo Wynne of Van Buren, AR; four daughters, Jazmine Wynne of Alma, AR, Adrianna Wynne of Omaha, NE, Sabrina Wynne of Van Buren, AR, Martina Wynne of Van Buren, AR; four brothers, Dennis (April), Kevin, Martin, and Marvin (Charlene) Wynne all of Omaha, NE; four sisters, Sandra, Darlene and Beverly Wynne all of Omaha, NE, Karen Wynne of Richardson, TX; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen godchildren; special aunt, Maxine Bennett; uncle C.B. Myles and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 from 12noon-5pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017, 11:00am at Full Counsel Christian Fellowship, 3414 Kinkead Ave. Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903
