Wanda's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mother Wanda Wilson.

Wanda Wilson, 77, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on August 17, 2018. Wanda was born on September 24, 1940. She was the widow of Harold Joe Wilson, Sr. She worked for years in the community serving the poor and homeless by operating a non-profit food and clothing pantry named, "The bottom of the Barrel" in Oakland, California for many years. She was a faithful member of Southpointe Church and was known by all members as, "Momma Wilson" until her sickness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Joe Wilson, Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, four sons, Harold (Kimberly) Wilson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Elliott Wilson, Robert (LaTanya) Wilson, and Juan Ellingberg all of Orlando, Florida; four daughters, Victoria (Gerald) Nelson of Orlando, Florida, Kathryn Wilson and Diane Mays both of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Robin Wilson of Oakland, California; one sister, Diane Freeman of Palm Springs, California and a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 5-6pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary, 611 N. 9th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Graveside service, committal service and final resting place will be held Friday, August 24, 2018, 11:00am at Oak Cemetery, 1401 S. Greenwood Ave. Fort Smith, Arkansas.
