Louis' earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Louis "Pete" Price, Jr.

Mr. Louis “Pete” Price, Jr., 93, of Conway, Arkansas was born on September 24, 1924 to the late Louis and Ollie Price. He passed away peacefully on September 4, 2018 at his Gold Lake home. He accepted Christ at an early age and remained a faithful servant and deacon, at the Mt. Sinai Church of God In Christ in the Gold Lake Community, until his health began to fail. He served in the United States Army and was a World War II Veteran. He married Edna Brown on Christmas Day in 1945. To this union six children were born.


He retired from Universal Nolan in Conway, Arkansas, was honorably discharged from the United States Army, and his portrait currently hangs in the Fort Roots Veterans Administration Hospital commemorating his World War II service. He was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.


Louis was proceeded in death by his parents and all his siblings.


Louis leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Edna Price; two sons, Grindell "Speedy" (Rita) Price of Conway, Arkansas, Scipieo (Patricia) Price of Little Rock, Arkansas; four daughters, Vallary (Louis) Mitchell of Marianna, Arkansas, Linda Kaye (Edward) Mattison of Conway, Arkansas, Chinita (Louis) Ford of Little Rock, Arkansas, Arleetris (Rickey) Cornett of Conway, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of family and many friends.


Public viewing and visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6-8pm at Mt. Sinai Church of God In Christ, 349 AR Hwy 365, Conway, Arkansas 72032.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018, 11:30am at Mt. Sinai Church of God In Christ, 349 AR Hwy 365, Conway, Arkansas 72032.


Committal service and final resting place will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018, 11:00am at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 2501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Arkansas.
