Once he reunited with daughter, Crystal, he stated to others that he was Blessed to be back in Spiro with her and the rest of his family.  Robert, his brother, was thankful to God Almighty that he was able to reconnect with Garrion after almost 30 years and the rest of his family in the Texas area.

Garrion leaves to cherish his loving memories two daughters, Crystal (Jeff Harris) Carter of Spiro, Oklahoma and Michelle Manriquez of Texas; two brothers, Robert (Noemi) Dominguez, and Ray Rodriquez all of Midland, Texas; six sisters, Gil Piovesan of Van Buren, Arkansas, Wilma Harris, Christina Allen both of Las Vegas, Nevada, Geneva (Robert) Charnock of Killeen, Texas, Gracie Jurado of Midland, Texas and Gloria Valdez of Mesa, Arizona; three grandchildren, Shanna and Cheynne Carter, and Kaleb Davis all of Spiro, Oklahoma, two great-grandchildren, Zachary Carter of Panama, Oklahoma and Xavier Barahona of Spiro, Oklahoma, many relatives, and friends.
