In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Williams family. Ezekiel's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Ezekiel Williams.

Ezekiel Williams was born June 1st 1938 in Parkin, Arkansas to Silas and Martha Williams. Ezekiel accepted Christ at an early age where he joined Bay Ferry Missionary Baptist church; he and his siblings where members throughout their young adult life. He graduated from Central High School in Parkin, Arkansas. Ezekiel was a traveler, between Chicago IL and Little Rock AR. During that time a host of children where birthed and loved dearly by Ezekiel. Wedding bells rang for Ezekiel and Dorothy Williams as they joined together as 1 in 1977. He accepted his late Step Daughter as his own and together Ezekiel and Dorothy birthed one Son Curtis B Williams. Later in 1994 he took on the responsibility of becoming a awesome grandfather/ father to his late daughters children Temesha Tyler (Lucy) and Gavin Foster (Pnut). Ezekiel had many titles when it came to the working world, at least 30 plus years as a truck driver with many hats and a continuant in the lawn service that helped so many of us “Keep our Yard Up”. He was and people person and a outside man who never met a stranger the only secret he had was the magic tire shine in the unnamed blue bottle! Ezekiel was the “glue” of the family you could always depend on him to get everyone together. He was also a “Stone Pony” in his family blood line and had a keen ear for Rhythm and Blues. He loved McDonald’s Coffee, Shipley’s Donuts, early mornings, city or highway cruising, and catfish; “fried hard”.
Preceding him in death are his parents, the late Silas and Martha Williams, two sisters Pearlene Jordan and Patricia Williams, Daughter Dorothy Foster, one niece Alanna Smith and one nephew Taj Williams. Others have passed on that he shared many memories and time with including in laws and close friends.
To celebrate his peaceful memorial and cherish his memory are his wife Dorothy Williams; son Curtis (Ashley) Williams, Temesha (Fabian) Tyler, Gavin (Alicia) Foster all of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Angie Williams of California; siblings, Beautone Griffin of Ford Heights, Illinois, Martha Jean Evans of Chicago, Illinois, Silas (Teresa) Williams, III of Thomaston, Georgia, Johnny (Joyce) Williams of Memphis, Tennessee, Mary (Allen) Smith of Kansas City, Kansas, Blanchie (Theodis) Daniel-Collier of Rochester, New York, Catherine (Rod) Richardsonn of Crowley, Texas, Ursella (Frank) Heggs of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mark (Diane) Williams of Parkin, Arkansas and a host of beautiful children, grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Celebration of life service will be held, Saturday, July 13, 2019, 11:00am at First Baptist Church, 2015 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
