In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Williams family. Albert's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Albert Ray Williams.

Albert Ray Williams was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on September 15, 1969 to his proud parents, Leon and Mary Williams. Albert was better known as "Baby Al". Albert attended the Roland Public Schools. While in Junior High, he received a certificate for being an Honor Student in 1984. He was also an athlete, he played basketball and football. He was a graduate from Roland High School in 1987. He attended Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Texas and received his Associate's Degree in 1989. Upon leaving college, he moved to Dallas, Texas and became a car salesman and later in life upon moving back home, he worked at Tyson. Albert loved music as well as sports and he was also a fun, loving person. If you came in contact with "Baby Al", you would easily learn to love him.

Albert is preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Williams; six brothers, Rickey G. Williams, Stanley Williams, Robert "Paul" Williams, Morris "Butch" Williams, Leon "Jr." Copeland, and Timothy "Timmy" Williams.

"Baby Al" leaves to cherish his loving memories, father, Leon Williams of Roland, Oklahoma; three sons, Marquis "Scooby" Copeland, Joshua Angel both of Roland, Oklahoma, and Dameon Williams of Fort Smith, Arkansas; four daughters, Albernisha Evans of Dallas, Texas, Tamika Copeland, Alyssa Johnson, and Mariah Johnson all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma (Clifton) Scott, Rita Brooks all of Roland, Oklahoma, and Linda Mustin of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Ninth Street Church of Christ 1930 North 9th Street Ft. Smith, AR 72901.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 N 9th St. Ft. Smith, AR 72901 | 479.782.9200.

Committal service and final resting place will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma.
