In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Bynum family. Olie’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Olie Bynum.

Mrs. Olie Jean Ingram-Bynum was born on October 27, 1946 to the late Willie "Dock" and Zenobia Ingram of Morrilton, Arkansas. She departed this life on January 25, 2020. Mrs. Olie accepted Christ at an early age. She loved fishing and going to church in Menifee. She drove the school bus for 20 years in the South Conway County School District.


Mrs. Olie was preceded in death by her parents, "Dock" and Zenobia Ingram; brothers, Buster Ingram, David Ingram, William Ingram; and grandson, Joseph "Pooh Bear" Jackson.


Mrs. Olie Jean leaves to cherish her loving memories, her loving husband Phillip E. Bynum, Jr. of Maumelle, Arkansas; four sons, Rodney (Joella) Morris of McKinney, Texas, Darrell (Regina) Robinson, and Lee (Ashley) Jackson both of Conway, Arkansas, Gabriel (Rena) Robinson of Little Rock, Arkansas; three daughters, Evelyn (Jackie) Moore, and Angela Jackson both of Conway, Arkansas, Chasity (Antonio) Livington of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Hazel Everrette of Morrilton, Arkansas, Tenize Gilreath of Las Vegas, Nevada, Morrislean Huggins of Kansas City, Kansas; three brothers, Roy Ingram, and Zeke Ingram both of Morrilton, Arkansas, Ben (Shirley) Ingram of Forrest City, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends who love her and will truly miss her.


Public Visitation will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 from 12:00noon to 4:00pm. Family will receive friends from 4:00pm - 5:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, 11:00am at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 105 Arnold St., Plumerville, Arkansas 72127. Rev. Dr. David E. Cox/ Pastor. Bro. Don Keels/ Officiating.


Committal service and final resting place will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Plumerville, Arkansas.
