Emma's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Emma Dell Rush, 56 of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on August 15, 2018. She was born November 2, 1961. Emma leaves to cherish her loving memory, two sons, Travis Rush of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Matthew Rush of Fort Smith, Arkansas; daughter, Mallory Rush of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two brothers, Carlton Melancon, Sr. of New Iberia, Louisiana, Nathan Melancon of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three sisters, Hilda Melancon and Theresa (Sylvester) Miller both of New Iberia, Louisiana, Gwen Anthony of Loreauville, Louisiana and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, 2:00pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary, 611 N. 9th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas.
