In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Hamilton family. Patricia's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mother Patricia Ann Hamilton.

Patricia Ann Hamilton was born August 25, 1958 to the late Sherman Hamilton and Ethel Mae Thomas-Hamilton in Murray Spur, Oklahoma. Patricia is also preceded in death by four brothers, Sherman, Raymond, John, and Larry Hamilton and a grandchild, Montel Atchison.



Patricia accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at their family church, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She received her education in the Fort Smith School System, and was studying Criminal Justice at Cameron University. She was truly dedicated to her children & grandchildren (to the moon and back), and she was a strong warrior. She was known as the “Community Mom” to all of the friends of her children, and she was also a loving, loyal, and supportive family member. She was noted as being a Diva and a fun-loving person and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.



Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memory, two sons, Karl (Tamaria) Atchison of Greenville, South Carolina; and Jeremy Hamilton of Lawton, Oklahoma; a daughter, LaKresha Hamilton of Lawton, Oklahoma; a brother, Marvin Hamilton of Fort Smith, Arkansas; four sisters, Barbara Hamilton of Waukegan, llinois, Betty (Albert Eugene) Kimble of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Theola Hamilton of Fort Worth, Texas, and Donna (Gary) Cook of Fort Smith, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Nikquel Atchison of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Latrell Atchison of Owasso, Oklahoma, Walter Moore of Lawton, Oklahoma, Karlysia Atchison of Owasso, Oklahoma, Warren Moore of Lawton, Oklahoma, Brandy, Khandlin, and Tania McDew all of Greenville, South Carolina; three aunts, Mary and Vera Thomas of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Mabel Thomas of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.



Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018, 2:30 pm at Laird Cemetery, Pocola, Oklahoma
