Ethel's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mother Ethel Finch.

Ethel Mae Finch was born October 27, 1938 to Johnny Porter and Eliza Wilson Porter in Dermott, Arkansas.
As a young girl, Ethel accepted Christ as her Savior at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Dermott, Arkansas. She later became a member of Christ Temple Holiness of Conway, Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor Willie Owens.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grand children, fishing, cooking, shopping and traveling. Ethel was a joy to all that new her.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Eliza; two brothers, Joseph Thomas and Ollie Porter; four daughters, Carolyn Finch, Margarite Ross, April Finch, and Innetta Finch.
Ethel leaves to cherish her loving memories, nine children, Dewayne (Anita Green) Ross, Charlie (Eloise) Finch both of Dermott, Arkansas, Willie Finch of Dallas, Texas, Tammy (Ricky) Brooks, Bonnie (Kevin) Baker, Paul Ray (Vickie) Finch all of Conway, Arkansas, Lakisha (Kendrick) Sexton of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tyrone Burton of Kansas City, Missouri, Denise Burtan of Lawrence, Kansas; thirty grandchildren; forty nine great-grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019, 11:00am at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, 601 Spruce St., Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, Conway.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Robinson Cemetery, Conway.
