D'Andre's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. D'Andre Banks.

D’Andre (Papa) Eric Banks was born March 30, 1981, in San Francisco, California to Bruce & Roxanne (Banks) Cunningham. D’Andre and his family moved to Arkansas in 1988 where he graduated from Hot Springs High School in May 1999. He migrated to Conway, AR in August of 2002 where he attended the University of Central Arkansas.
On March 2, 2003, D’Andre joined the Gamma Upsilon chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc and became a part of one of the best step teams in his era. He enjoyed serving his community and working closely with the brothers mentoring young men in the central Arkansas area.
During his time in Conway, D’Andre was the second employee hired to work for Mike’s Place where he served for 14 years up until his passing. He touched many lives with his infectious smile and laughter.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pearlette Winston Johnson.
His life will be celebrated and remembered by his loving daughter Tajara D. Banks, mother Roxanne Banks, brother Reginald Gibbs, sisters Loma Wilson and Whitney Simpson-Nolley; three step sisters Shatora Gibbs, Shatera Gibbs, and Marcleta Gibbs; five uncles, Mark Banks, Reginald Winston, Eric South, Donovan Winston, and Yahshua Deadmon; His extended family, his employer and Wife Mike and Tonya Coats; his best friends, Myra Laniyan, Walter Washington, Shakenia Tate and Chiquita Hearns; The Brothers of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. and the Sisters of Iota Sweethearts, Inc.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Lastly he leaves his canine companion, Milton.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, 11:00am at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 East, Conway, Arkansas 72034.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Robinson Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
