Louis' earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Louis Easterwood, Sr.

Louis Easterwood, Sr. was born on May 28, 1938 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Plummer, Sr. and Blanch Easterwood. Louis was also preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Cunningham, Gertharene Easterwood, Rosie Byrd; brother, Plummer Easterwood, Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Easterwood; best friend, Lloyd Westbrook.
Louis departed this life on August 22, 2019. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Pine Street School and his favorite pastime was working on his John Deere tractor and his dozier. He also loved his garden, farming, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louis worked for many years at Donaway Construction Company as a Operating Engineer. Louis never met a stranger and will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
Louis leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife, Sara Easterwood of Conway, Arkansas; five sons, Louis, Jr. and Charles both of Little Rock, Arkansas, Marcus (Melissa), Sr. Kenneth and Theolia all of Conway, Arkansas; three daughters, Dorothy, Susan and Evelyn all of Conway, Arkansas; one sister, Shirley Garner; one brother, John Earl (Evelyn) all of Conway, Arkansas; twenty five grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; longtime friend, Connie Westbrook; the Westbrook family and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Public viewing for family and friends will be held Friday, August 30, 2019 from 12:00noon to 6:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019, 11:00am at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy. 286 East, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas
