In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Wise family. Denny's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Denny Chevez Wise.

In Fort Smith, AR on August 5, 1995, Denny N. Wise and Courtney Williams were blessed with their first son ​Denny Chevez Wise​, affectionately known to some as Lil Denny. Denny is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary Ford-Wesley and George Ford and his maternal grandmother Leandra Pasadyn.

Denny was a graduate of the Fort Smith Public Schools, Northside High School class of 2014, where he met and married his high school sweetheart Brenda Gonzales-Wise. They were married on Aug 25, 2018, and from this union was born a son, Lorenzo C. Wise. Denny was a devoted husband and father, and he took on the role of protector with no regrets, because he loved his family dearly.

Denny was a member of New Covenant International Christian Center, and he also had many gifts and talents. Denny was an intelligent young man, musician, and an amazing artist. His various works could be located in many locations within the city of Fort Smith. Whether it be signage or murals for local businesses, airbrushed softball helmets for his cousins, or t-shirt designs for various events within the community, he was up for the task. Denny was very respectful and kind, with a very playful loving spirit. To know him is to love him, and he will be missed greatly by his multitude of family and friends.

Denny leaves to celebrate his life, his wife Brenda Wise; a son, Lorenzo; his mother, Courtney Williams; his father, Denny N. (Tarrell) Wise; three brothers; Correy Wise, DeMarco Wise, and Antonio Thomas; a sister, LaQera Jones; his maternal grandfather, Dennis Pasadyn; he shared a very special bond with his uncle; Petit (Roxie) Ford all of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many friends that he held close to his heart.

Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at New Covenant International Christian Center 4400 North N Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.

Committal service and final resting place will be held at the Rose Lawn Park, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
