In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Cuble family. Colene’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Colene Cuble.

Colene Ann (Shepard) Cuble was born November 28, 1957 to Roy and Madlene (Eubanks) Shepard. She was called home to be with God on the morning of Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; two brothers, Jonace Shepard and Daniel Clayton; a sister, Cynthia Shepard.

Colene joined church and accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alma, Arkansas.

Colene attended and graduated from the Spiro Public Schools. After graduating from Spiro high school, she continued her education by attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and later she studied at Westark Community College in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Colene was a hard working lady. She spent 25 years working at the Whirlpool Corporation before retiring, was a pre-school teacher for four years, and Owner/Director of Aunties Daycare for five years.

Colene was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, companion, family member, and loving friend to many who will miss and treasure her.

Colene leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Demetria Shepard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Denotria (Brian, Sr.) Davis of Edmond, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Brian, II and Brayden Davis both of Edmond, Oklahoma; the love of her life, Thell Parker, Sr. of Alma, Arkansas; a sister, Betty Lewis of Spiro, Oklahoma; a brother, Carl (Devola) Shepard of Wichita, Kansas; two sister-in-law's, Kay Clayton and Omega Shepard; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, November 15, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday November 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Mount Triumph Missionary Baptist Church 15802 Fort Coffee Road Fort Coffee, Oklahoma 74959.

Committal service and final resting place will be held at the Fort Coffee Cemetery, Fort Coffee, Oklahoma.
