Dorothy’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Dorothy Marilyn Dawson was a blessing from God on Wednesday, June 11, 1952 in Nampe, Idaho to the late Clifford Dupont and Dorothy Marilyn (Carter) Dawson. She was called to take her eternal rest on Thursday, October 29, 2020. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Ronda Corum.
Dorothy came to know the Lord at a young age. The Kitchen’s family were her foster parents. She lived most of her life in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. In 2018, she moved to Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Dorothy was known for making friends very easy. She had a very special friend, Cindy, at the Latimer Nursing home. She also loved children, all people in general, and she truly loved dogs. She will be cherished and never forgotten by all who loved her dearly.
Dorothy will be forever loved by her three brothers, Leroy James Eubanks of Marshall, Texas; Clifford Dupont (Mary Ellen) Nolan of Lynwood, Washington; and Mark (Linda) Farris of Poteau, Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
