On January 7, 1952, Earlene L. Whitmore entered into this life with a smile upon her face in Fort Smith, Arkansas. in life after every storm comes the sun, but God’s Word says, “joy cometh in the morning”. On Sunday, July 3, 2022, our heavenly Father saw fit to give Earlene that “joy” as He took away her pain and suffering to give her those beautiful wings.

She was a pillar to her community where she worked as a barber for over thirty years. She was a faithful member of Saint James Missionary Baptist Church where she remined until her passing. She was an absolute joy to anyone she came across; but did not mind putting you in your place with a quick tongue lashing if she saw fit, which made her love you even more.

Earlene was also preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Barbara (Cole) Logan, Sr.; her eldest son: Marion Whitmore, Jr.; and two of her brothers: Christopher and Vincent Logan. In her passing through life, she leaves to rejoice the end pain : Marion Whitmore, Sr.; her daughter: CeTreiva (Gregory) Whitmore-Lockett of McDonough, Georgia; her youngest son: DeCarlos (Montella) Whitmore of Fort Smith, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Chesil (Keric) of McDonough, Georiga; Domanique Horton (Denntrick) of Monterey, California; Cervonn and Cana both of Maumelle, Arkansas; Tilon “TJ” of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Denarion, Lydia and Shacar Whitmore; four great-grandchildren: Channing, Cai’liyah, Cailon and Dior. She also leaves to rejoice her life nine sisters: Wilma Whitmore, Gailann Dean, Patsy Baptista (Angel), Glenda Logan, Terri Logan, Janice Logan, Judy Pope (Gary), Sonnia Duncan (Eugene) and Lacretia Ragsdale; two brothers: Earl Logan, Jr. and Paul Logan all of her siblings are from Fort Smith, Arkansas and uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
