Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Edgar Turner.

Edgar Eugene Turner, Jr. affectionately called "Lucky" by close family and friends was born on September 8, 1952 to the late Edgar Turner, Sr. and Dorothy Allen in Little Rock, Arkansas. He passed away on June 6, 2021 peacefully in his home surrounded by family. He is also preceded in death by six siblings, Willie Lee Houston, Jeff Houston, Beatrice Houston Rollins, Fred Houston, Estella Anderson, and Arthur Houston.
Lucky attended Slack La-Grand High School in Wilmot, Arkansas and Capital City Business College to study journalism. Lucky's name came to be after his mother found out she was six months pregnant with him. She always to him he was "Lucky to be here". He had a strong faith and a great love for family and friends. He was caring and always concerned for others. He so fully embodied life. His zest for life made him special to many people.
Edgar leaves to cherish his memories his son, Bruce Brooks; two siblings, Sandra Russell and Clyde Tidwell; special sister-in-law, Vercie Mae Houston; special niece, Jacqueline Davis; special friend, Joyce Ward and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family and friends visitation will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 from 5:30-7:00pm at Abundant Grace Christian Church, 9901 Leah Lane, Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021, 10:30am at Abundant Grace Christian Church, 9901 Leah Lane, Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8507 AR-161, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
