In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Hardy Family. Floyd's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Floyd Hardy Jr.

Floyd Leon Hardy, Jr. was born Thursday, March 5th, 1981 to the late Arlean Williams and Floyd Leon Hardy, Sr. in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Lil Floyd attended BHAS until the family then moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas where he resided until his passing.


Floyd was preceded in death by his beautiful and loving mother, Arlean Williams in 2000; grandparents on both sides; aunts and uncles on both sides.


Fond and loving memories will be remembered in the hearts of his long time girlfriend, Elizabeth Seda: father, Floyd Leon Hardy, Sr. of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his beautiful children whom he loved dearly, Kiya Livingston, Artean Tayzie Hardy, Noelle Faith Seda, Ka’Miyah Hardy, Messiah Kentrell Hardy, Elijah Amir Hardy, Josiah Anthony Hardy, Kentrell Hardy, and Miguel Hardy. He loved being a father and grandfather; four grandchildren, Harmony Brooks, Lyric Knauls, Steven Williams, and Melody Knauls; three sisters, Latisha (Derrick) Beard-Gibbs, Lisa (Mally) Cooper-Williams, Rochelle Young; four brothers, Eric Johnson, Dontae Young, Al Suell, and Damion D. Williams.


Boss Hardy will also be remembered in the hearts of numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special aunt, Suesandra Mayes whom he loved dearly.


We thank you all for your love and support during this unexpected passing. Please continue to pray for us and his children as we move forward in healing.


Celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023, 2:00pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
