Georgie's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Georgie Pauline Cain-Lasley.

GEORGIE PAULINE LASLEY (age 68) was born on August 4, 1957, in Lavaca, Arkansas, to the late Dorothy (Berna) Johnson and Merle Johnson. She passed away on November 3, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith.
Pauline loved her family fiercely and was a dedicated nurse in her younger years. This compassion never stopped as she continued providing her compassionate care to various family members throughout her life; To know her was to love her. She was always full of humor, loved to laugh and was a big fan of Betty Boop!
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Lawrence Lasley; one (1) daughter, Sonia Smith (John) of Ft. Smith; two (2) sons, Donald Steele (Deahe) of Alma and Lee Steele (Jackie) of Dardanelle; a stepdaughter: Summer Dawn Lasley of Oklahoma; nine (9) grandchildren; and four (4) great-grandchildren; two (2) sisters: LaVita Palmer of Sallisaw, OK, and Geraldine Garrett (Roy) of Mountainburg, Arkansas; two (2) brothers, Loyd Johnson (Cathy) of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Robbie Johnson of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two (2) brothers, Othel Johnson, and Robert Johnson; two (2) sisters, Palestine Pulliam and Rachel Connacher.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Assembly of God Church in Charleston, Arkansas with Pastor Darrell Johnson Officiating.
