In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Church Family. Jack's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Jack Church.

The life journey of Mr. Jack Church began on April 18, 1932, in Wynne, Arkansas; to the union of the late Abraham Warren and the late Lucille Garrett-Church. He departed this life on November 18, 2025, in his home, with his wife by his side.
Jack accepted Christ at an early age and dedicated his life to learning and living in his teachings. He attended Wonder High School in West Memphis, Arkansas and later entered the Construction field; where he remained for over thirty (30) years before starting his own business, called C&S Construction along with his sons. They affectionately referred to him as “Company Man”. His joy was to help and teach others.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; three (3) daughters; one (1) brother and one (1) sister.
Jack’s legacy will live on through his wife: Juanita Church of sixty (60) years of marriage. Seven (7) sons: Melvin Barker of Chicago, Illinois; Edward Church, Stanley Bausley, Cedric (Sandra) Bausley, Darrick (Monica) Church, Travis (Stacy) Church and Tommy (LaSonia) Frost all of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Five (5) daughters: Louise Cole of West Memphis, Arkansas; Gwendolyn Lewis of Marion, Arkansas; Brinda Banks, LaQunta Church and Tammie (Beaulena) Church all of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Thirty (37) grandchildren, sixty (60) great-grandchildren, and five (5) great-great grandchildren along with a host of relatives and friends who will all miss him dearly.
Walk through visitation for family and friends will be Friday November 28, 2025; 9:00am to 6:00pm (family hour 5-6pm) Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday November 29, 2025; 11:00am Northside C.O.G.I.C 4420 Kelley Hwy., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
Burial and committal service will be Oak Cemetery 1401 S. Greenwood Ave., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
