Kenneth “Larry” Golden, of Conway, Arkansas (formerly of Texas), transitioned from this life to a life free of pain on December 26, 2025, with the love of his life holding his hand.
Larry was born on February 5, 1941, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Kenneth Roe Golden and Theola Ruth (Phillips) Golden, both of whom preceded him in death. Larry accepted Christ at a young age. He attended and graduated from high school and, following graduation, proudly served in the military.
Larry later married, and to this union three children were born. In later years, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he met the love of his life, Brian. The two soon became inseparable and were married on July 4, 2004, in Toronto, Canada. To their union, they added their beloved fur babies, one of whom preceded Larry in death.
Larry and Brian made their home in the Dallas/Arlington area for many years before relocating to Conway, Arkansas, in 2024. In his final days, Larry found purpose and joy in helping Brian care for his mother, Joyce Haynes, creating meaningful memories together until his health began to decline and God called him home.
Larry leaves to celebrate his life and legacy: his loving husband, Brian Morris-Golden, of Conway, Arkansas; his mother-in-love, Joyce Haynes, of the home; their cherished fur babies, Hazel and Henry; his three children, Debora Denise (Golden) Sawyer of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, Paul Douglas Golden of Washington, and Matthew David Golden of Texas; two sisters whom he loved dearly, Sheila Joan (Golden) McCaughey of Westville, Indiana, and Belinda Jean (Golden) Bernard of Sarasota, Florida; a special sister-in-love, Terri Mack of Tampa, Florida; and a host of relatives and friends who loved him deeply.
