Kevin Lewis Edwards was born on January 25, 1964, in Compton, California to the late George and Claudette Paschall-Edwards.  He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, along with his twin brother Kalvin Lewis Edwards.

At an early age, Kevin accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, California. In his early childhood education, he attended the Oakland Public Schools. The family later moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas and Kevin finished his education and graduated from Northside High School in 1982; along with his identical twin brother Kalvin, where they became known as the “flipping twins” while attending Northside.

Kevin was an awesome son, brother, uncle and friend to all; and would aid and support you in any given situation.  He truly loved and cared for his family and his friends. He will always be remembered for his “bright” smile that he flashed often, and his love for his favorite soap-opera, The Young & The Restless. You could not call him while it was on, he would not answer the phone, and would let you know, he would call you back later.

As identical twins, Kevin and Kalvin were invincible, and powerful together. They would know what the other one was thinking; even when one was going to the store or to Teresa’s (their sister) house to eat.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memories: One (1) daughter: Quamina Edwards of California. Two (2) brothers Willard Paschall of Las Vegas, Nevada; three (3) sisters: Georgann Duckette of Pomona, California; Patricia (Edward) Buchanan and Teresa Edwards both of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Along with a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and loving friends.

Memorial Celebration of life for family and friends will be held Monday June 15, 2026; 12noon Rowell-Parish Mortuary Chapel 611 North 9th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
