In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Hamrick family. LaShana’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. LaShana Hamrick.

LaShana Kay Hamrick was a blessing from God to Chaney Mitchell and the late Willie Webster on Tuesday, January 5, 1965 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was called to take her eternal rest from Fort Smith on Monday, September 20, 2021. She was also preceded in death by seven of her grandchildren.


LaShana was baptized at First Missionary Baptist Church under the direction for the late Pastor C. A. Woods, Sr. in Fort Smith. She attended Howard Elementary and Darby Junior High School in Fort Smith.


LaShana was known to be a giver to all who knew her (she would give you the clothes off her back if you needed them). She was a kind-hearted person, who was also loving and caring. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Her favorite sport was football. She will be greatly missed by all who adored and loved her throughout her life.


LaShana will be forever cherished by her two sons: Gosha, Sr. (Amber) and Alonzo Robinson all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her two daughters: Tia (Mike) McDaniel of Conway, Arkansas and Toniah Robinson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her grandchildren: Shaquavaton, Amad, Jeremiah, Easton, Cortez, Jordan, Anastasia, Mekaila, Gavin, Gosha, Jr., Kiyoshi, Josiah, Xavier, and Alonzo, Jr.; her mother: Channie Mitchell of Monterey, California; her three brothers: Michael Webster of Fort Smith Arkansas, Henry Webster of Roland, Oklahoma Arthur Webster of Fort Smith Arkansas; her three sisters: MaryAnn (Thomas) Ray of Los Banos, California, JoAnn Fulbright and Diane Easterling both of Fort Smith, Arkansas and a host of other family members and friends.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Carol Ann Cross Park 1601 South 74th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903.
