In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Vearrier Family. Lavonne's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Lavonne Vearrier.

Lavonne Vearrier, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents William “Bill” and Anna Schoon; and her husband of fifty-five (55) years, Dennis “Danny” Vearrier.
Lavonne enjoyed crafting, puzzles, playing cards and Bible Study. She loved animals, and over the years had a variety of pets including horses, rheas, dogs, fish, rabbits and birds.
She is survived by her brothers: Calvin (Kathy) Schoon of Columbus, South Carolina and Donald Schoon of Corinth, Texas. Her children: Sherry Miner of Waldron, Arkansas; Terry (Sherri) Vearrier of Odessa, Texas; Mary (Donnie) Pearce of Mena, Arkansas; Larry (Karen) Vearrier of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Gary (Della) Vearrier of Arkoma, Oklahoma. She was blessed to have twenty-four (24) grandchildren and fourteen (14) great-grandchildren.
There will be a private memorial service for family members.
