Robert’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Robert Anthony Thompson.

Robert Anthony Thompson was a gift from God to his parents on Tuesday, January 19, 1982 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at Sparks Hospital (Baptist Health). He was called to take his eternal rest on the morning of Sunday, February 7, 2021. He was also preceded in death by three uncles, Thomas, Bobby, and Elder Mitchell Lee.
Robert this childhood in Murry Spur, Oklahoma (3 1/2 miles out from Spiro). He attended the Spiro Public Schools, and graduated from Spiro High in 2000. He moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas and worked as a stocker for Wal-Mart. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Robert will be forever cherished and remembered by his mother, Mender Lee of Spiro, Oklahoma; his father, Deck Zell Thompson; his wife, Lisa Thompson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three daughters, Micah S., Precious L., and Tabetha R. Thompson all of Spiro, Oklahoma; a brother, Travis (Marian) Thompson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; an uncle, Jimmy A. (Mable) Lee of Coffee, Oklahoma; four aunts, Dorothy L. Phillips of Missouri City, Texas, Katherine (E. P.) Massey of Spiro, Oklahoma, Joyce A. (Alfonzo) Edwards of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Maggie Lee of Spiro, Oklahoma, along with many other family relatives, and friends.
Celebration of life for immediate family only will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary, 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
