In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Curtis family. Ruth’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Ruth Curtis.

Ruth Elizabeth Curtis passed away on March 26, 2021 at her home in Conway, Arkansas. Ruth was born on June 19, 1945 in Conway to the late Charles and Richarddean (McCray) Curtis. Ruth attended Pine Street School and had lived in the area most of her life. In 1984, she moved to Joplin, Missouri and worked for Tyson Foods as a lab assistant. She had always considered Conway her home and returned in 2006. In 1946, she was voted Conway’s Most Popular Baby and was featured on the front page of the Log Cabin Democrat. She was well known for her sense of humor and her infectious laugh. Everyone who knew her loved her. In 1960, she met Edward Jerry Mosby and to this union four children; Levelle Antonio Mosby, Mashele Mosby Foster, Jerri Mosby, and Sheila Mosby Foster were born. In 1977 she met Edward Odell Fuller and to that union one daughter, Dujuana Fuller was born.

She was preceded in death by Edward Jerry Mosby and her only son Levelle Antonio Mosby.


She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, Mashele Mosby Foster of Conway, Arkansas, Jerri Mosby of Maumelle, Arkansas, Sheila (James) Mosby Foster of Joplin, Missouri, Dujuana Fuller of Conway, Arkansas; four sisters, Timicia (Malik) Curtis Taylor of Joplin, Missouri, Cynthia (Kelly) Curtis Pickens of Aurora, Colorado, Edith Bunting of Denver, Colorado, Cheryl Bunting of Maryland; two brothers Chuck (Janet) Curtis of San Antonio, Texas, Columbus Curtis of Virginia; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, 11:00am on the campus parking lot of True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 E., Conway, Arkansas 72032.

Committal service and final resting place will be held at Robinson Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
