In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Copeland Family. Tamika's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Tamika MeChelle Copeland.

Tamika Copeland (better known as Mika or Mik-Mik) was born on February 14, 1988, to Michelle Poole and Charles Knauls, Sr., in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She entered eternal rest on June 20, 2025. Mika was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sherl and Louise Massey; Dannie Mae and Ollie Knauls; and Uncle: Fred Copeland.
Mika spent her childhood growing up in Moffett, Oklahoma, Roland, Oklahoma as well as Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mika attended schools in both Moffett and Roland, Oklahoma, graduating from Roland High School with the Class of 2006. At a young age, Mika accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at New Morning Star in Moffett, Oklahoma. As a young adult, Mika became the mother of two (2) sons: JaMarcus Broadway and Zey’Don Broadway. She worked in Customer Service and as a Caregiver; willing to help others in any way she could.
Mika enjoyed the good things in life; she loved spending time with her children and family. She enjoyed eating good food and just letting “the good times roll.” Mika had a bold spirit and a passion to show love to everyone she met. She was full of life, had a bright personality and smile, and she would light up any room she entered. Mika has engraved a “loving spirit” in the hearts of those who are left to remember her.
Mika is survived by her two (2) sons: JaMarcus and Zey’Don Broadway; Mother: Michelle Poole; and Father: Charles Knauls, Sr.; two (2) brothers: Marquis “Scooby” Copeland and Charles Knauls III. Two (2) sisters: LoToya Roberts and Angel Knauls.
Along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Walk through visitation for family and friends will be Thursday July 3, 2025; 9:00am to 7:00pm (family hours 5-7pm) Rowell-Parish Mortuary Chapel 611 North 9th St., Fort Smith, Aransas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be Saturday July 5, 2025; 2:00pm Harvest Time Church 3100 Briar Cliff Avenue Fort Smith, Arkansas 72908.
Committal and final resting place: Shady Grove Cemetery 111945 S. 4780 Road Roland, Oklahoma 74954.
