Willie Jean's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Mrs. Willie Jean Butler, 70, was born on February 10, 1953 to Gertrude Butler and Willie Anderson of Alzheimer, Arkansas. She graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City, Missouri She professed her hope in Christ at the age of 42 and joined Philadelphia Baptist Church. Willie Butler married Roy Lee Robinson and had no children. She worked as a house keeper. She loved fishing, gardening, dancing and her family.
Willie Jean is preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Butler; her father, Willie Anderson; and her husband, Roy Lee Robinson.
Willie Jean leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Shawana (Anthony) Stubbs and Sharon Butler Clemons both of Conway, Arkansas; one son, Robert Tyrone Butler of Conway, Arkansas; siblings, James Butler of Menifee, Arkansas, La Doris Robinson of Menifee, Arkansas, Thomas Robinson, Jr. of Conway, Arkansas, Victor Robinson of Texas, Alma Jean Anderson-Sloan, five other siblings of California; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Walk through visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, 11:00am at Menifee Church of Christ, 3911 US-64, Menifee, Arkansas 72107.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at the Menifee Community Cemetery, Menifee, Arkansas.
