Roy Lee's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Roy Lee Robinson.

Roy Lee Robinson, was born July 31, 1945 in Conway, AR. He transitioned to his eternal life on September 8, 2017. He always called Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church his home and the church he loved, but several years ago he united with Anointed and Appointed Disciples Through Jesus Christ Church. No matter what church, Roy had a personal relationship with the Lord and always expressed his love for God. He frequently acknowledged his love for God and acknowledged the Lord’s death and resurrection for all of our sins.
Roy worked for many years at Baldwin’s Piano Company and Carrier Air Condition Company, providing for his family. Family was a great concern of his and he was a wonderful provider. He had a tremendous amount of love for his family and made sure they were cared for.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee and Rosilee Robinson and one son, Christopher D. Tuggle.
Roy leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife, Willie Jean Robinson; two sons, Michael D. (Jackie) Robinson, Lamont (Angie) Robinson; step-son, Robert Butler; two daughters, Barbara (Terry) Venzant, Lynn “Vonn” Tuggle; two step-daughters, Sharon Clements and Shawana Butler all of Conway, AR. He leaves six loving grandchildren; eight loving step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Lee (Kelly) Robinson of Conway, AR., Syvord (Reeta) Robinson of Little Rock, AR; sister, Mary Ann Robinson of Conway, AR and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Roy loved his family and friends dearly and he was truly loved by all. We will miss him so much and our love will never cease, remembering his humorous, fun, loving personality that entertained our hearts and lifted our spirits. He will certainly be missed.
Visitation will be held, Friday, September 15, 2017 from 6-8pm at Anointed and Appointed Disciples Church, 310 Salem Rd. Conway.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017, 11:00am at Greater Friendship Baptist Church, 146 Taylor Cir., Conway.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Greater Friendship Cemetery, Conway.
