Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Patricia Ann Hill was born July 22, 1964 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Henry Davis Jr and Shellie Heard. Pat was the second oldest of five girls. She transitioned from her earthly tabernacle to meet her heavenly father on March 10, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father Henry Davis Jr, mother Shellie Thomas, eldest sister Sandra Davis and younger sister Felicite Barnes.
She graduated from Blytheville High School in 1982. Pat furthered her education in 1990 by receiving her Certified Nurse’s Assistant licenses. She worked at several nursing homes in the local area throughout the years dedicating her life to the care of the elderly. She prided herself as a healthcare professional and took care of each of her patients as if they were her own parents.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She served in various capacities in the church throughout the years. She has served as Choir director, children’s church teacher and member of the hospitality committee where she was known for her home cooked meals. Pat was always a giver and willing to help anyone at any time. She made it her mission to make those around her feel special and put a smile on their face.
Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memories, husband, Otha Porter; Stepfather Millard Thomas; daughters Vonda (Greg) Price of Vilonia, Arkansas, Rhonda (Anthony) Hill of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters Mary Ann Moore of Atlanta Georgia, Mildred (Author) Robinson of Osceola, Arkansas; stepbrother Danny Thomas of Blytheville Arkansas; grandchildren, Xavier Price and Julius Price; special niece, BraKyia Jamison; special nephews, Myrion Stapleton, Brandon Jamison, Keysten Harrell all of Vilonia, Arkansas and a host of relatives and friends. Celebration of life service will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018, 3:00pm with a visitation one hour prior to service from 2-3pm at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1425 S. Elm St., Blytheville, Arkansas.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Blytheville.
