On September 5, 1971, Booker Lamont was introduced to the World to the Proud Parents: Booker and Lecile Criswell. He went to Van Buren Public Schools where he received his High School Diploma. Lamont was baptized by Dr. Chester A. Woods at an early age at The First Missionary Baptist Church. He was affiliated with the Trail Explorers, Youth Choir, and Sunday School, as well as his siblings. (You see, back in the good old days, children were not allowed to tell parents what they were not going to do.) During his life, he worked in various capacities throughout the city. He may have seemed to have been a quiet jewel, but he was a sincere person at heart when sharing with the Lord HIS final wishes, as well as HIS amends.  His favorite color - Blue
Â
Lamont knew HIS hardships, longing for belonging. He accomplished HIS reality of being restored with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Despite any physical and/or emotional odds against him, accepted the call to HIS due benevolence to be with the Lord. His relationship with the Lord went beyond his physical frailties. It goes beyond how we may have mixed feelings about his life because in the end, Life is never just about US. It’s about Life after Death on Earth. Lamont made the acknowledgement through his request to the Lord without hesitation.
Â
Booker Lamont Criswell III was preceded in death by father Booker Myles Criswell, Grandfather Booker Criswell, Grandparents Adam Sr. and Catherine Webster, and Uncle Adam Webster.
Â
Cherishing his memories are his mother Lecile Criswell of Van Buren, AR; two (2) siblings Tino Carvay Criswell (Tinita) of Tulsa, OK and Yo’Londa Gisele Thompson (Andre) of Fort Smith, AR; five (5) children Antonio Criswell (six children) of Copperas Cove, TX.; Malcolm (Morgan) Criswell (six children) of Fort Smith, AR; Alexys (one child), Kayla Criswell of Tulsa, OK; and Jordan Criswell of Barling, AR; his enduring Grandparent Dorothy Criswell (101 years old) of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
In honor of his death, there remains a host of aunts, uncles' nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and many friends. Booker Lamont Criswell III is esteemed at YOUR presence knowing he is at PEACE!
