Calvin Nathaniel Jackson (“CJ”) was a blessing given to Mary Marie Berger Wilson and the late Nathaniel Jackson on Sunday, November 3, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He passed into his eternal rest on Saturday, November 5, 2022 also from Fort Smith in Martin Luther King Park (one of his favorite places). He was also preceded in death by one of his brothers: Brent T. Jackson.

Calvin will be forever cherished by his mother: Mary Wilson; three sisters: Mary Bell Booker, Avis Jones and Ann Wilson; a brother: Charles (Melody) Wilson and a host of other family members and friends. He also leaves behind a cherished friend: Berta Bell. The family deeply appreciated the love, friendship and care Berta provided for CJ.

Calvin was considered by many as “Midland Heights” – where he grew up and remained for the rest of his life. He will be missed by many who knew him throughout his lifespan.

Reflections of his life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
