On March 3, 1964, Charlotte began her earthly sojourn. Her life was entrusted to her loving parents, Charles and Ava (Vann) Williams. In her youth, she enjoyed softball, learned the art of sewing, and participated in many school activities. She dabbled in the viola. But after many harsh notes and a few tears, her mother released her to find her true passions. She entrusted her life to Christ at an early age and lived the message of the cross every day. She graduated from Northside High School in 1982. After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas Little Rock, she worked in the early days of information technology. Through her marriage to Jimmy Ray Riley, she gained two loving daughters, Kiedra Rush and Phillise Perry. In this, Charlotte found her true mission on earth. She later adopted her third daughter, Caysha. She fostered many children who needed stability and love and was a Godmother to children of her cherished friends. Realizing her mission and calling was to ensure that children and families knew the power of love, she pursued a master’s degree in counseling. She was passionate about helping children and families heal and thrive. She worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor for several agencies and in private practice. On January 29, 2025, her earthly work was completed, and she was welcomed back to her eternal home. An elder sister, Aletha, predeceased her. Her younger sister, Carla, 3 children, 5 grandchildren (Kylonni, Riley, Kyondre, Ava, Eve), family, and friends remain to honor her life.
