Isabella's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Isabella Vanlue.

Isabella Roberts Vanlue, 98 years old, passed away June 25, 2024, at Chapel Ridge Health and Rehab in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born and lived in Alma, Arkansas until the age of 90, and was well revered in her community of Van Buren, Fort Smith, and the surrounding area.
She is survived by her children: Dewilla M. Vanlue Wood, Dr. Rhonda F. Vanlue Gray, and Lawrence J. Vanlue Jr. (Barbara Crystal) all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Shirley S. K. Vanlue Filhiol of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Betty J. Vanlue Givan of Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Elaine Wolaridge of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three Nephews, Billy Gene Roberts (Vicelia) of Grand Prairie, Tx, Jimmy Roberts of Sacramento, CA, and Donald Roberts (Tanna) of Rogers. AR; and a Neice, Cassandra Todmann of Sanford, North Carolina. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other “in-law” nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1115 Spring Street in Alma, Arkansas. The burial will be at Lewis Cemetery, Alma, Arkansas. Visitation will be at Rowell-Parish Mortuary, Fort Smith, AR on Friday, July 5th, 2024 from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. The family will be present from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. for the visitation period.
