In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Logan Family. Jeffreida's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Jeffreida "Mikki" Logan.

Jeffreida Michell “Mikki” Logan; 59, was born on October 26, 1966, at Saint Edwards Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Gailann Dean.  She entered eternal rest on March 31, 2026.  Mikki was preceded in death by her grandparents; Earl and Barbara Logan, Sr., great-grandmother; Vanzella Freeman and grandfather; Sylvester Freeman.

 

Mikki spent her childhood growing up in Fort Smith, Arkansas and Conway, Arkansas at the Conway Human Development Center. At the age of ten (10) she was relocated back to Fort Smith and resided at the Willow Creek Facility through the Bost Non-Profit Agency; where she could spend holidays and weekends with her family.

 

She was a loving great-aunt and enjoyed life. She loved laughing, dancing, caring and sharing “hugs.”  Hugs that she didn’t mind sharing with everyone she encountered.

 

Mikki is survived by her mother, Gailann Dean; two (2) brothers: Jonathan Johnson and Julius Dean both of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Two (2) sisters:     Tammy Austin and Adria (George) Smith both of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Three (3) nephews: Terry Harris, Jr., and  Dalvin Sr. (Jessica) Moore both of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Ayden Cheater of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Five (5) nieces: Ashton Dean, LeNea Brewer, DeNea Brewer, and Arrayh (Savion) Williams all of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Tanisha Johnson of White Hall, Arkansas.

 

Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and caregivers.

 

Walk-thru visitation for family and friends will be held Friday April 10, 2026; 10:00am to 4:00pm Rowell-Parish Mortuary Chapel 611 North 9th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901. Celebration of life service on Saturday April 11, 2026; 2 o'clock p.m. King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church 3509 Johnson St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
