In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Walls Family. Lester's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Lester Walls.

Lester Walls was born to the late Wilbert Osler and Alice Walls Hoyle. At an early age, he confessed a hope in Christ and united with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained faithful throughout his life.
Lester was employed with Am-Tram-Waro Bus Company in Conway, Arkansas, where he worked diligently until his retirement. He enjoyed life and found great joy in spending time with his family, friends, and The Crew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Terri (2012) and Ruth Diane Walls (2023); his son, Preston Criswell; brothers, Charles Walls, Arthur Walls, Wilbert Osler Jr., and Regional Hoyle; and sisters, Alice Walls and Joyce Walls.
Lester leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Ashley (Tasha) Criswell and Contrail Criswell; two daughters, Larjarta Criswell and Tashara Pirtle; three brothers, Billy (Wilma) Walls, Donnie (Levon) Walls, and Edward (Flora) Walls; grandchildren, William Miller, Tory Criswell, Coby Criswell, Tywon Huffman, Breylan Criswell, Delton Criswell, Terrell Dunlap, and Ricky Dunlap; his aunt, Lila Ruth Payne; sisters-in-law, Lorene Walls and Janice Walls; special cousins, Annie Mae Criswell and Deborah Walls; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will remember him fondly.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm at Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, 11:00 am at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 728 Mt Olive Rd, Plumerville, AR 72127.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Plumerville, Arkansas.
