Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Paul Reid.

Paul Andrewlo “Pete” Reid, 77, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away on October 25, 2025. He was born on September 2, 1948, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Archie W. Reid and Mary Ella Fuller.

Pete is survived by his sons, Paul Reid Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, and Gary Reid of Texas, and by Tia Davis of Mayflower, Arkansas, whom he loved as a daughter. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bruce Reid; and his sister, Mary Halliburton.

Pete is lovingly remembered by his sisters: Camelia Reid (wife of the late Bruce Reid), Carolyn Hoskins of Conway, Arkansas, Pamela Fuller of Mayflower, Arkansas, and Monica (Columbus) Harper of Mayflower, Arkansas.

Pete will be remembered for his independence, his personality, and the impact he made on those who knew him. In his later years, he received dedicated and compassionate care from Lori Ledbetter, whose support and presence were deeply appreciated by him and his family.

He will be deeply missed.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations.

Committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 11:00am at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72120.
