In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Tuggle Family. Peggie's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Peggie Tuggle.

Peggy Jean Tuggle, age 82, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025. She was born on July 6, 1943, in Conway, Arkansas. Peggy was a graduate of Pine Street High School in Conway, Arkansas. She later continued her education at Penn Valley College in Kansas City, Missouri. During her time in Kansas City, she was an active member of Allah Court #6 and devoted many years to serving youth through the summer Caceta Programs, reflecting her lifelong commitment to service and community involvement. After returning to Arkansas, Peggy was employed at Lyman’s Library in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where she worked faithfully for 17 years before retiring. Peggy, affectionately known as “Pat,” enjoyed the arts, particularly theater and music. She also loved reading, fishing, bowling, and attending family gatherings. She was the author of the book "Deep Thought Straight Talk".
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lussie Price and Emma Price, and her siblings, Deautris Price and Kerry Price.
She is survived by her loving children: Columbus Tuggle (Marie) of Conway, Arkansas; Kevin E. Tuggle of Jefferson City, Missouri; Tammie Credit (Charles) of Conway, Arkansas; Bridgette Fox of Conway, Arkansas; and Chinita Jackson (Ricky) of Raytown, Missouri. She is also survived by her brother, Larry E. Price, and her sisters, Carol Price, Wanda Price, and Phyllis Gatewood; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
During her later years, Peggy received compassionate care from Brookridge Cove and Rehab of Morrilton, Arkansas. The family extends sincere appreciation to the Brookridge Cove staff and the staff of Veasley Funeral Home for their care and support.
Peggy Jean Tuggle will be remembered for her dedication to family, her service to others, and her enduring faith.
Walk through visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
