Torenon's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Torenon Howard.

Torenon J. Howard was born on September 12, 1992, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is the middle child born to Sharon Atkins and Mark Thompson. He is proceeded in death by his stepfather Larry C. Atkins and grandmother Evelyn J. Howard. He leaves to cherish his memories with fiancé Shataura Green and daughters Ryleigh Denise Howard and Kendall Couch.
He graduated in 2010 from Methodist Alternative Schools of Little Rock. Torenon
gave his life to Jesus in 2013 at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. As a youth Torenon loved to play outside, ride his bike, and jump off of anything high (yes you read that correctly). Torenon loved to play video games as he got older
and spend time with his family and friends. As he became a man he became great father and a loving spouse. He loved to cook for his family and play with his kids. He has always been a home body but as of late he enjoyed getting out and traveling
with his last adventure being a concert performed by Wiz Khalifa who is one of his favorite artist. His favorite basketball player was Lebron James who he loved \everything about; T was a lover and a collector of shoes.
He is survived by his mother Sharon Atkins, brothers Marquis Thompson, Carvis Palmar, Jeremy Larry, and sister Marlesha Thompson. Nieces: Caliedra Settles, Calaiyah Miles, Elyse and Madysen Thompson, nephews: Marquis and Nahmir
Thompson, Carsten, Corbin and Logan Palmer, Jakory Larry, aunt Lisha Howard, uncles Quince Lipsie, Michael Howard, and Tony Howard and a host of cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at First Missionary Baptist Church, 701 S. Gains St., Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, 11:00am at First Missionary Baptist Church, 701 S. Gains St., Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, 8507 AR-161, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
