Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Travis Quentin Dixon, 50, of Fort Smith died July 20, 2017. He was born September 10, 1966 in Fort Smith and attended Pocola Public Schools until he graduated in 1984. He worked several jobs, each showcasing his immense talents, and retired in recent years. He was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. He devoted his life to family and his later life to his loving friend and companion, Precious, his cat. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, Birta Wilson, of Pocola, OK; brother, Victor Dixon of Dallas, TX; daughter, Hally T. Dixon of Fort Smith, AR; great aunt, Francis Whitmore; aunts, Betty (Vernon) of Fort Coffee, OK; Lucille of Fort Smith, AR, Virgal Ann (Willie), Darlene (Brad), Rosie all of Pocola, OK and a host of relatives, friends, and special acquaintances. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017, from 5-7pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary, 611, N. 9th St. Fort Smith. Graveside celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 11:00am at Laird Cemetery, Pocola, OK.
