Willie's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Willie Hailey.

Willie Hailey was born September 22, 1929 to Lige and Jennie Hailey in Huntington, Arkansas. Willie was educated in public school system in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Willie accepted the Christian faith at mid age and was member of Saint Augustine Episcopal Church for over 20 years. He loved spending holidays with his family and vacationing in Oklahoma City with his nieces. He was known as (Hunzie) to friends and Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Willie Hailey retired from ST. John’s Episcopal Church where he worked as church sexton and was responsible for maintaining building and grounds.
He leaves to cherish his memory, three nieces, Mary McDonald of Delinda Craine (Charlie) both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Twquina Merriweather of Fort Smith, Arkansas; John Woods (Charlette) Fort Smith Arkansas; Mark Woods of Fort Smith AR; Sister n Law Marie Hailey of Milwaukee, WI; Christina Hailey of New York City NY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held, Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5-6 PM at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
Graveside celebration of life service will be held, Friday, April 6, 2018, 11:00 AM at Washington Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Washington Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
