In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Crenshaw-Hightower family. Brenda’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Brenda Crenshaw Hightower.

Mrs. Brenda Crenshaw Hightower affectionately known as “Bae Bae” was born in Conway, Arkansas on August 29, 1959 to the late Willie, Jr. and Dorothy Crenshaw. She passed away on January 3, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas. She accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated her life under the leadership of Rev. William E. Forte at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas.

Brenda left her hometown shortly after high school and moved to Detroit, Michigan for many years. She later moved to Kentucky as she worked for Webasto Auto Parts Factory until her health started to fail. Then she moved back to her hometown of Conway, Arkansas.

Brenda loved spending time with her family. She was a people person. She loved to cook, sew, bake and fish. She loved her children and grandchildren but most of all she loved the Lord.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gwendolyn Crenshaw and Kimberly Crenshaw.

Brenda leaves to cherish her loving memories, husband of twenty years, Luther Leon Hightower, Sr. of Conway, Arkansas; four sons, Reginald (Christina) Crenshaw of Detroit, Michigan, Caled (Chelsie) Crenshaw of Lexington, Kentucky, Alton Tribble of Detroit, Michigan, Luther Leon Hightower, Jr. of Conway, Arkansas; two daughters, Rosalyn Garth of Detroit, Michigan, Andrea Garth of Lexington, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Dajuanna, Diona, Juania, Kacey, Andre, Andronna, Anna, Kolby, and Caden; two brothers, Clifford Crenshaw of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Vernon Dillard of Conway, Arkansas; one sister, Lesia D. Matthews of Conway, Arkansas; a special aunt, Ruthie Walker of Waterford, Michigan; a special uncle, James Crenshaw, Sr. of Conway, Arkansas; four aunts and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.


Walk through visitation will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021, 12:00pm at Greater Fellowship Christian Church, 1 Wildwood Drive, Conway, Arkansas.
