In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Feimster family. Jimmy’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Jimmy Feimster.

Jimmy “Big Jim” Feimster was a gift from God to the late Glenice and Edith (Cole) Feimster, Sr. on Tuesday, February 10, 1948 in Huntington, Arkansas. He was called to take his eternal rest on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Feimster, Sr. and Lee Feimster.
Jim graduated from Mansfield High School with the Class of 1966. He worked as a Service Manager at ABC Treadco in Fort Smith for over 30 years before retiring. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. In 1977, he married Betty Kinnard and they remarried on June 16, 2019.
Jim was a loving person who never met a stranger. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was also the number one football fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, he was fun and a lover of laughter. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and appreciated him in life for his gentle spirit and smile.
Jim leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Betty of Fort Smith, Arkansas, two daughters, Diane Feimster of Garland, Texas and Christi Feimster of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two step-daughters, Belinda McBay of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Kimberly (Murrell) Sanders of Muldrow, Oklahoma; two brothers, Glenice (Frances) Feimster, Jr. of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Danny Feimster of Capitol Heights Maryland; four sisters, Carol Watson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Peggy Williams and Joan Hampton both of Kansas City, Missouri and Deborah Johnson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Dre’Kevion (Destanie) Feimster, Daija Feimster, Khalil Davis and Tyriq Greene; five step-grandchildren, Christopher (Kaye-lani) Cravens, Trevon (Iris) Sanders, Tanara Cravens, Ramille McBay and Erica McBay; two great-grandchildren, Creed and Jayden Feimster; eight step great-grandchildren, Colton Sanders, Kuaiko and Ohnyx Cravens, Rihanna, Elaina, SaDiya, LaClarence, and Skylynn Holden and a host of nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
